Community Health Volunteers (CHV) – Nakuru

Through partnership with county health department and other partners, YotM trains CHV on epilepsy care. An introduction is done before the roadshow in the area. The CHV will support in awareness creation in the roadshows. A focal person who keeps an update of persons living with epilepsy referred for medication. A follow up session is then followed to ensure understanding and to address any rising challenges from the field after the training.
