International Epilepsy Day

International Epilepsy Day (IED) was marked at German Doctors Nairobi- Baraka Health Centre in Mathare. Youth on the Move through the partnership with German Doctors have been working with patients at Baraka clinic in offering support and sharing their experiences on managing their epilepsy condition. During IED youth engaged persons with epilepsy, other patients and care givers of persons with epilepsy. They shared education materials, T-shirts and snacks to mark the day.

PLWE were able to share their experiences from before they started treatment in Baraka and after starting treatment. Baraka Health Centre offers affordable medication which in turn allows more people to access health care services.
